Tai Chi in the Park is a structured, instructor‑led wellness program offered by the International Gung Fu & Healing Center Botswana. The class focuses on traditional Tai Chi practice, emphasizing balance, posture, controlled movement, breathing, and mental calm in a peaceful outdoor environment.
This is not a casual drop‑in class. Sessions are conducted as organized training, and participants are expected to arrive on time, follow instruction, and train with discipline and respect. The program is suitable for adults, seniors, and the elderly, and is ideal for anyone seeking low‑impact exercise, stress reduction, improved mobility, and overall wellbeing. No prior Tai Chi experience is required.
Training follows the school’s principles of WUDE (martial ethics), promoting respect, self‑control, and mindful practice. Movements are taught progressively and performed at a comfortable pace, allowing participants to safely develop coordination, flexibility, and focus.

Important Class Rules

  • All participants must follow instructor guidance at all times
  • Respect for the training space, instructor, and fellow students is mandatory
  • Tai Chi is practiced for health and wellbeing only
  • No disruptive behaviour, drugs, or alcohol permitted
  • Appropriate, comfortable training attire must be worn
