The International Gung Fu & Healing Center Botswana (IGFHC) is led by SiTaiGung (Grandmaster) Shu Wai Chung, widely known as Grandmaster Scott, a world‑renowned martial artist, Tai Chi and Qigong master, and international authority in traditional Shaolin and Wudang Chinese Martial Arts.
Grandmaster Scott is a World Wushu Champion, a multi‑time international gold medalist coach, and Botswana’s official representative to the International Wushu Federation. With over three decades of training, teaching, and competition experience, he has founded and led martial arts institutions across the United States, the Caribbean, and Africa, establishing a legacy rooted in discipline, cultural authenticity, and ethical training through WUDE (martial morality).
Under his leadership, IGFHC has become home to Botswana’s only internationally recognized multi‑gold‑medalist Chinese Martial Arts team, qualifying athletes for world competitions in China. Beyond competition, Grandmaster Scott is the creator of the GONTSE Movement, a specialized women’s self‑defence and personal protection program approved and recommended by Gender‑Based Violence prevention stakeholders in Botswana.
IGFHC reflects Grandmaster Scott’s core mission: to use martial arts as a tool for health, self‑protection, character development, and community upliftment, welcoming children (7+), adults, seniors, and the elderly into a disciplined, respectful, and supportive training environment.
