Women's Circle

The Botswana Women’s Circle is a half‑day immersive gathering created to support women in slowing down, reconnecting, and turning inward through intentional practice, presence, and community. Held in the natural setting of Mokolodi, this Circle offers a sacred pause from everyday life and an opportunity to reconnect with the body, the breath, and shared experience.
As the seasons begin to shift and winter approaches, the Circle honours this natural invitation to move inward. Through purposeful movement, intentional breath, ritual, and creativity, participants are guided into deeper awareness of themselves and their interconnectedness with others and the natural world.

What to Expect

The day unfolds gently and with care, allowing space for grounding, reflection, and meaningful connection. Practices are guided in a way that is accessible and supportive, with no expectation of prior experience.
Participants will be guided through:
  • Yoga asana focused on purposeful movement and embodied presence
  • Pranayama and intentional breath to support grounding and self‑connection
  • Savasana and moments of stillness for rest and integration
  • Circle rituals and ceremony to honour intention, reflection, and interconnectedness
  • Creative practices that explore healing, expression, and shared experience
The gathering is designed to feel nurturing rather than demanding, offering a balance of movement, stillness, reflection, and connection.

Ritual, Creativity, and Connection

Ritual and ceremony are woven throughout the day as tools for presence and remembrance. Participants are invited to explore how intentional ritual can support self‑connection, healing, and a sense of belonging in daily life.
Creative expression is offered as an embodied practice, not a performance. These activities support reflection, integration, and the gentle exploration of interconnectedness, allowing participants to express and process their experience in a meaningful way.

Nourishment and Care

The Circle is supported by nourishing Ayurvedic snacks and a sattvic lunch, prepared to complement the practices of the day. Food is approached as part of the overall experience, encouraging mindfulness, balance, and care for the body.
